Lake Bled is a glacial lake set in the Julian Alps of Northwestern Slovenia. It's a beautiful and quiet place. Motorized boats are not allowed on the lake. Traditional Pletna boats ferry passengers to Bled Island and the Church of the Assumption. Bled Castle, which looks like Dracula's lake house, sits high on a rock above the town and the lake.
