Corpse Flower Blooms in DC
The titan arum (Amorphophallus titanum) or Corpse Flower blooming at the U.S. Botanic Garden in Washington, DC. This human-size flower blooms every few years to every couple of decades. It is native to the tropical rainforests of Sumatra, Indonesia and was discovered in 1878.
